Why I want to be a teacher?

Why I want to be a teacher is a great question and probably a question which all teachers ask themselves at some stage in their career. So I asked myself the very same question why do I want to be a teacher. All my life I never thought of myself as a teacher, I always dreamed of being a famous pop star or actress but unfortunately my voice decided that he is not going to participate as for my acting skills ... well let's just change the subject. I wanted a career which was different every day that involved a lot of fun and gave me the escape card from a desk related career. So I set out to search for the perfect job. After various outcomes and different careers ( and I mean different ) I gave up hope, but then one day something/someone trigger my mind and I immediately thought of teaching as a career. I had a teacher who had all the great characteristics of an awesome teacher smart, fun, great sense of humor, dedicated and the most important of all passion for teaching. The next logical question would probably be "Do you think you will be an awesome teacher?" I would like to say yes obviously I still have a lot to learn, but I truly feel that I would be able to become an awesome teacher.
